Holiday Interval Training – best way to avoid that 1-2 lb gain.

by | Dec 8, 2013

Time and again, we hear that the average American adds 1-2 pounds of fat from each Thanksgiving to New Years.

That’s an extra 83-166 calories per day for ~ 6 weeks.  Doesn’t sound like much, does it?

Yet it’s sadly true for our overweight and under-fit nation that those pounds stay on – year after year 🙁

What’s my advocacy for avoidance?

-> Get the needed after burn from high intensity interval training to keep metabolisms humming.

With a well-planned and executed interval periodization for the HOLIDAYS, those pounds don’t have to be;  and you can afford to “go off the reservation” for an episodic feast or cookie.

Get those heart rates up, America!
